Oregon’s Adventure Coast Seeks Honorary Mayor!
So, you want to be Mayor of Oregon’s Adventure Coast? Enter our new contest! We will be searching for an honorary “Mayor” for a weekend of The Coos Bay – North Bend Visitor & Convention Bureau!
The winner of this contest will be granted the following:
- 2 night stay in an Oregon’s Adventure Coast Hotel;
- $50 in Dining Certificates at participating restaurants;
- Crab Ring Rental Package from Fishermen’s Wharf Seafood Market;
- *ATV Adventure for 2 from Spinreel Dune Buggy Rentals, Inc
Here’s How to Enter:
1) Write an original campaign speech describing your qualifications and what you plan to accomplish as “Mayor of Oregon’s Adventure Coast”.
The topic of your speech should be: What I Will Achieve as Mayor of the Oregon’s Adventure Coast! As a general guideline, your campaign speech should be between 1000-5000 characters in length.
2) Go to our Facebook Page and click on our Contests Tab (be sure to review the rules and guidelines) and submit your campaign speech before midnight on Friday March 18, 2011.
3) Our panel of judges will review the submitted speeches and will choose and announce the winner on March 25. The judging criteria is:
- Originality & Creativity;
- Clarity of expression;
- A demonstrated passion for the Oregon Coast;
- Quality of writing;
- Appropriateness to the topic;
